How is the notice reviewed?
Each URL named is checked against the work described. A notice that is complete and identifies material accurately is acted on. One that is missing a required element is returned to you rather than actioned, and we will say which element is missing.
Can I respond if my content was removed by mistake?
Yes. If material of yours was removed following someone else's notice and you believe that was wrong, write to [email protected] with the URL and the basis for your position, and it will be reviewed.
Do you keep a record of notices?
Yes, along with what was done in response. Repeated notices about the same source are handled together rather than separately.
What if I am not the rights holder?
You can still send a notice if you are authorised to act for them, and the form asks you to confirm that. If you are neither, and you have simply noticed something that looks wrong, use the contact page instead. It is a useful thing to report and it does not need to be a formal notice.
